About The Ranch

Rose Mary Meding's first words when asked about her Miniature Zebus are, "I love our zebus and try to get the word out to everyone who will listen."  According to Meding these little cattle have become her life.  She said that they never intended to get into them as much as they have. Their Miniature Zebus breeding stock originates from Komoko Ranch of Newberry, FL.   Then, one acquisition led to another and with calves that have been born, Rose Mary and Stephen now have a herd of about 40 head. 

The Medings operate their 25 acre tangerine orchard as a specialty crop business.  Their 65 acre ranch is located along Shell Creek near Punta Gorda, Florida.  Four thousand citrus trees cover the fields which Stephen tends to while Rose spends her days doing what she enjoys most, working with the miniature Zebus.
